Children have proven to have the opportunities to play organized sports during lunch recess on certain days of the week, while enjoying several days of free play as well. Every year principals contact Active Learning to conduct more and more reward assemblies in PE and Movement. Classroom teachers for elementary schools are gaining a new perspective and appreciation of integrating movement through academic studies while secondary PE teachers are introducing Literacy and Math concepts into regular sports, dance and fitness on a daily basis!

The Active Learning program is currently reaching great success in the elementary schools across Orange County, CA. including but not limited to

Each module is built around exercises to strengthen motor skills, balance, socialization, teamwork, multi-tasking and problem solving, understanding directions, spatial awareness, eye-hand coordination, concentration, increasing vocabulary, and exploring shapes, colors, and patterns. With successful completion of the program, children develop a positive sense of self as well as a healthy physical and emotional outlook.

Reward Students with MOVEMENT Motivate Children to Move through Organized Physical Activities and Education

● Give Children a Chance to Relax BEFORE & AFTER Testing. Active Learning will provide master Yoga and Meditation teachers to help children learn to increase their focus & concentration for testing and classroom time, control their breathing, contract their muscles and find happiness in any environment.
● Students should have the chance to let it out and play in a safe environment while learning socialization, team work, eye-hand coordination, fitness, sports skills and much more.

Physical Activity and Education workshops for Childcare and Pre-K-6 teachers In –Class Demonstrations and/or Workshops/ Staff Development. Workshops include incentive items, ample resources and equipment ideas.

Establishing a sound exercise and nutritional foundation within an academic environment increases the child's ability to lead a fulfilling and healthy life. The tools provided in this segment enable the child to develop a positive sense of self as well as a healthy physical and emotional outlook. Children learn to not only respect who they are now, but these courses challenge them to imagine and create the person they will become.

● Module 1 - Childcare, Pre-K and K: Organized in/outdoor Physical Activities.

● Module 2 - Pre-K and K: Academic Curriculum via Movement Lessons (Pre-Math,   Pre-Literacy, as well as other comprehensive curriculum)

● Module 3 - 1 st -6 th Grade : Organized in/outdoor Physical Activities

● Each module is built around exercises to strengthen motor skills, balance, socialization, teamwork, multi-tasking and problem solving, understanding directions, spatial awareness, eye-hand coordination, concentration, increasing vocabulary, and exploring shapes, colors, and patterns.

● This series is offered using 2 different scenarios:
     1. an in-class hands-on student teacher environment, (30-45 minutes)
     2. or a teacher/staff workshop (2 hours).

● In either environment, educators are taught to facilitate and incorporate the personalized lesson plans, handbooks and play tools provided in the Active Learning concept. This would include classroom lessons, observations, and pre/ post assessments

● Personal classroom consultations with operational staff as well as administrators if applicable are also incorporated. As well as, concrete recommendations to maximize resources and increase staff development as well as student participation.
